Volunteering in Bolney, as in many other communities, has occurred for years. Village life would not be what it is without those who are prepared to give up their time to get involved and create the sense of community which makes Bolney such a wonderful place to live. Opportunities come in all shapes and sizes! The Bolney Volunteers group, which in recent years has performed a lot of useful work around the village, has been re-launched, with the Parish Council coordinating its activities now.
The group uses WhatsApp as the means of communicating needs and finding volunteers to carry out approved tasks.

Do you have a suggestion for a project for the volunteers?
Send your suggestion to volunteers@bolneyparishcouncil.gov.uk. The ideal projects are those that can be carried out safely and only require the use of simple hand tools or non-specialist motorised equipment (i.e. mowers, hedge-cutters and strimmers, but NOT chainsaws).
