National Highways will soon be carrying out expansion joint refurbishment works to the A23 northbound and southbound carriageways at the Bolney flyover.
To undertake these works safely they’ll need to close the A23 northbound and southbound carriageways overnight from A2300 Hickstead Interchange to Bolney.
Please note due to the nature of the works there will be no access for emergency through the closure, please follow the diversion routes below.
Closure information:

Monday 3 August for five nights (8pm to 6am)
A23 southbound Bolney to A2300 Hickstead Interchange
Monday 10 August for five nights (8pm to 6am)
Diversion information:
Northbound diversion
Northbound traffic will be diverted from the A23 at Hickstead via the A2300 and local authority roads before rejoining the A23 at Bolney.
Southbound diversion
Southbound traffic will leave the A23 via the southbound exit slip road at Bolney and rejoin the A23 via the corresponding entry slip road, allowing vehicles to continue southbound beyond the work site.
