West Sussex Young People’s Strategy

West Sussex County Council would value your feedback on the proposed priorities for a new Young People’s Strategy. Their short survey is open until 11.55pm on Monday 26 October 2026. Following the feedback they receive they will then run a further public consultation on the final draft strategy, so there will also be additional opportunities to comment.

Help Shape the Future for Young People in West Sussex

West Sussex County Council is developing a new Young People’s Strategy and are seeking views of young people, parents / carers, communities and organisations on the proposed priorities for the strategy.

The strategy will help shape leisure-time and recreational opportunities for young people aged 11 to 19, and up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), over the next five years. It focuses on improving access to activities and opportunities that support health and wellbeing, confidence, skills development, positive relationships and community connection.
